PLEASED TO ANNOUNCE THE 2017 AMAZING RACE MEDINA COUNTY

Brunswick, Ohio –Aug. 30, 2017- The Medina County Chamber Charities is pleased to announce the 2017 Medina County Amazing Race event. The event will be Saturday Sept. 23rd, 2017 and team registration and check-in will kick off at the Winking Lizard in Brunswick. Your team must arrive between 7:30am until 9:00am and then the teams will be off! This fun and challenging competition will host teams of four who will then race around to secret locations throughout Medina County, competing for cash prizes and glory. Funds raised will be distributed by MC Chamber Charities to further the education of Northern Medina County traditional and non-traditional students. Our goal is to raise about $13,000 through the event.

City officials, Businesses, agencies, non-profits, clubs and other local organizations can sponsor a team and use this exciting opportunity for corporate team-building. Friends, families or individuals can also choose to sponsor a team in this family-friendly race through our beautiful county. Learn about the history of Medina County in addition to doing fun and zany tasks along with our selfie scavenger hunt challenges. Teams will race, run, eat, think and outsmart each other to the finish line.

Team registration is open online at www.mcamazingrace.com by clicking the green “Register Now” button. It’s only a $100.00 registration fee for a team of four. All teams must have four members at least 14 years of age or older with someone available to offer them transportation. We anticipate the event as taking no more than 4-5 hours to complete as you race throughout Medina County. The first place team will win a cash prize of $500 and second place will receive $300. A special spirit award will be available for one lucky team too.
