Executive Director Job Description
General Function:
The Executive Director, under the direction of the NMCCA Board of Directors, is responsible for the full range of activities for the Northern Medina County Chamber Alliance.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Develop and retain membership -Work with Board of Directors
- Administer Chamber benefit programs, interpretation of policy
- Develop Programs
- Work with committees
- Promote Chamber image while representing Chamber and the community
- Facilitate community development
- Encourage economic development
- Continuous professional development
Time Commitment:
This is a full-time salary position, requiring primarily daytime hours with some weekend/evening hours. Ideal start date: September 2, 2019.
Reports to:
Board of Directors
Qualifications:
Proven success in a coordination and management role, preferably in a non-profit setting. Demonstrated strong organizational, communications, office and computer skills.
Desired:
Ability to direct, supervise and work with volunteers. Must have strong ability to develop thorough understanding of the Northern Medina County Chamber Alliance procedures as a member organization, it's mission, purpose and programs associated with membership, as well as a thorough understanding of the respective roles of fellow staff, board and committees within the organization.
Compensation and Benefits:
Commensurate with experience.
